George had two double-doubles, barely missing a third, with 14 pts 9 rbs in 100-66 win over Penn Valley, 24 pts
15 rbs in OT win against #14 Wabash Valley, and 22 pts 10 rbs in 105-36 victory over Shawnee CC.

Holly is an unselfish leader for the Lady Cardinals, helping them go 2-1 last week. Forbes had a subpar game at #23 Vincennes (98-62 loss) with 6 pts, 5 rebs and 6 assists, but rebounded well with a big games at Southeastern Illinois with 22 pts, 4 rebs, 2 stl and 2 assist, a 78-45 win, and at home vs. Arkansas Baptist with 32 pts 16 rebs, 4 stl, and 2 assist, winning 77-66. In this game Holly was 14-15 from the field (94%), missing only one shot, her last.

Region Player of the Week (December 11-17)
25 points, 8 rebs, 2 assists, 2 stls, 75% FG (12-16), 50 % FT (1-2), 36 min. in 81-79 road loss to John A. Logan
Holly continues to lead by example with her solid defense and clutch shooting, in addition to being a force to be reckoned with as a slightly undersized 5'9" Power Forward/Post Player. Her 18 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 66.4% FG shooting will attest to that. At the start of last week, Forbes was in the top ten in 6 of the 9 region stat categories and was either 1st or 2nd in PPG, FG%, Rebounds and Steals. Holly leads the Lady Cardinals in points, rebounds, steals and  is second in assist.

Angelica Wiggins of Moberly Area CC
Region 16 of the Week (January 8-14)

Angelica, a 5'9" SO G from Toronto, Canada has been a steady force all season in helping the Lady Greyhounds to an umemplemished start (18-0). In their two games last week Wiggins was instrumental in leading the Greyhounds to a couple of wins. Tuesday at DII #6 St. Louis CC, Wiggins poured in 18 points to go along with 3 rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes in the 94-79 victory. On Satruday at home against region rival Three Rivers, Angelica had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in 30 minutes of game time in the Greyhounds 81-49 win to open region play.
